Los Angeles

We're in LA! :D My parents decided to do an Ikea trip while Mark was on business here. We drove into town last night, leaving Vegas around 6:00 PM because Caitlin was taking forever to pack. Before we had completely left town we stopped by Borders to buy me a new tarot deck and Caitie a book that surprisingly isn't about vampires. Baha. And we did madlibs. Apparently Edward Cullen is a "little artichoke" and likes to steal radishes from girls' undergarments.
Today we went to the garment district (Or I guess its the Fashion District now) and bought a ton of stuff, it was all so cheap!! I also got a prom dress for $82. :D And it wasn't exactly one of the cheapest. I wish it would be like that in Vegas, too for all my friends struggling with budgets on their dresses. xD; I also bought my masquerade mask, 3 neclaces, earrings, 2 pairs of legwarmers, a shirt, and pink Wayfarers... Excluding my dress it was 39.50. The mask being the most expensive at $15... Most of the shirts at the Fashion District were $4, and I even saw $6 prom dresses (no try-ons, though.) Hosnap. But you could easily get a full wardrobe for under $100.
The hotel we were in earlier was the Westin Bonaventure and daaaamn was it a nice hotel. And I don't even like hotels. In fact, I hate them. They all have the feeling you'd get from being around little kid snot. D: We're at a different one now, a Radisson. A rather nice one, too. Last night going into the hotel I tried to remember the name of "The Ryatt" because I had recalled Led Zepplin renting out the floors of hotels (that one in particular) to ride their motorcycles through the hallways. Going out to dinner now... I'll finish writing this when I get back.

Went to T.G.I. Fridays; I tried the Prime Rib Stroganoff for the first time. It was absolutely to die for. :D On that topic, after this week I'm gonna try and stop eating meat. Lets call it flexitarian. I won't give up eating meat completely; I like fish way too much- sushi in particular.
We skipped going to Canter's diner because my mom forgot and its way over in West Hollywood and we're in a hotel in the suburbs. I haven't been there since I went to an art car exhibit here in 6th grade with my art class. Their chocolate cupcakes are to die for. :D
Tomorrow to Ikea. We need... hampers.
